DesignLagos is a platform, a collective. It belongs to everyone, and to no one. 

If we were coders, and this were a codebase, it'd be open source. In fact, if you know a simple way to make DesignLagos open source,  please feel free to show us how. 

DesignLagos has only one aim: to highlight, showcase and propagate action around a few key issues:

• The practice, some would say art, of great design - Specifically, we are interested in helping more and more young Africans understand design, demand more of it in their environment and seek to make careers out of it
• The sprawling wild, wild west of a megacity called Lagos - Specifically, we are interested in making Lagos the most efficient, best designed and most livable city Africa has ever seen
• The people, or systems that create great design - Specifically, we are fascinated with how the minds and lives of great creatives work, and we believe it is possible to create and cultivate environments where they flourish in Africa
